Course Contents
This course will provide training for confined space supervisors, safety attendants, and entry personnel required to work in a Non-Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health (IDLH) or low hazard confined space.
Topics include: review of applicable regulations and codes, program / permit / entry checklist requirements, confined space hazards and control measures, atmospheric monitoring principles, ventilation principals, and non-entry rescue options.
Training Duration and Timing: The course is delivered in 4 Lessons. Approximately 4 hours of practical training is required upon completion of online lessons.
Lesson Structure: Self-paced. The course can be completed in one sitting or over several sessions. To view your progress see My Progress.
Assessment Schedule: Following the course is a short 12 question Quiz.
Competency Requirement: A score of 80% or higher is required on the Quiz to pass. The Quiz can be re-taken if a score of 80% the or higher is not achieved.
